next step.
One thing, done right: helping customers in the USA locate personal loan choices up to $5,000. Know the price. See for yourself.
Free connecting service. Not a lender. Approval is not guaranteed.
Borrow thoughtfully.
Loans are what we do.
Understanding comes first.
Just Borrow Loans is a U.S. connecting service. We explain personal loan options in plain language, so you can weigh the cost before committing.
We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions. Any offer and loan agreement come from an independent lender. When you’re ready, our application page opens the provider’s request form after a security check.
What do you need
to get started?
These are the basic request requirements. Individual lenders may apply additional criteria.
- 0118 or older
You must be an adult to use the loan-request service.
- 02A supported U.S. state
Use your actual state of residence. Check coverage below.
- 03An active checking account
The request journey requires an active checking account.
- 04At least $1,000 a month
Stable monthly income of at least $1,000 before tax is generally required. Requests of $5,000 may require $2,000 or more.
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee approval or establish that a $5,000 loan is affordable. A lender may require more income, offer less than requested, or decline.
Explore loan optionsWhat could a personal
loan help with?
Start with the expense you need to cover. Check that the lender permits your purpose, and request only what you need.
Something broke
A car repair, a household emergency or an unexpected dental bill. Check when funds would actually arrive, especially when the expense cannot wait.
Bills with a due date
Rent, utilities and other bills can put pressure on a budget. Ask the provider about a payment arrangement before adding a new loan payment.
Replacing card debt
Compare fees and total repayment with the cost of paying down the card. A smaller monthly payment alone does not make a new loan cheaper.
Personal, installment, bad credit: what’s the difference?
A personal loan describes borrowing for a personal expense. An installment loan is repaid in scheduled amounts over an agreed term. The same offer can be both. Bad credit describes a credit situation, and emergency describes a need; neither guarantees a separate product or approval.
Borrowing for a recurring shortfall can leave next month’s budget tighter. Compare any lower-cost options available to you before committing.
A few steps.
A more informed
decision.
Complete a security check on our application page, then enter your application details directly in the provider’s embedded form. Our server does not receive those details.
Know the costs before you start →- 01
Choose an amount and check the basics
Open our application page to choose an amount from $200 to $5,000. Review the current state availability and requirements. Your selection is a request, not an approved limit.
- 02
Complete the supplier’s request
After a security check, enter your details in the third-party request form. Read its privacy notice, sharing disclosures, contact permissions and credit authorization before submitting.
- 03
Review any offer
If a lender makes an offer, check the amount you receive, APR, fees, payment dates and total repayment. You can decline before signing; a request may also return no offer.
- 04
Decide, then complete verification
If you accept, sign the lender’s agreement and complete its remaining checks. Funding depends on the lender and your bank. Keep the agreement and lender’s contact details.
Have the details.
Know where they go.
The supplier may ask for identity, address, income, employment and checking-account details. A lender may request pay stubs, bank statements or other verification.
Enter sensitive information only in the supplier’s application form. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank details or financial documents through website support.
Credit checks
Different credit histories may be considered. Lenders can also review income and existing debts. A soft inquiry does not affect your credit score; a hard inquiry can. Do not assume a request involves no credit review.
Funding timing
A decision may arrive quickly, and same-business-day funding may be possible after approval, signing and verification. Neither instant approval nor same-day funding is guaranteed. Funds may take one or two business days or longer.
What could a
$5,000 loan cost?
Using the connecting service is free. A lender may charge interest and fees. The actual offer’s APR, fees and term determine the cost.
$5,000 over 36 months
at 24% fixed APR, with no fees
This is a calculation, not a typical rate or a promise of available terms. Your actual APR could be substantially higher or lower.
- Approximate monthly payment
- $196.16
- Total repayment
- $7,061.91
- Interest included
- $2,061.91
The final payment may be adjusted for rounding. A longer term can reduce each payment while increasing the total interest.
Before you sign, check
- The amount deposited after any deducted fees.
- The APR, interest charges and other fees.
- Payment size, frequency, first due date and total repayment.
- Early-repayment, late-payment and renewal terms.
If a payment becomes difficult
The lender’s agreement sets the repayment dates and possible fees. Missed payments can lead to collection activity and may affect your credit if reported.
Contact the lender early about difficulty repaying. Extending or renewing a loan can add cost and is not always available. Just Borrow Loans cannot change your repayment schedule.

Let’s clear
a few things up.
Still have a question?
Get in touchFor an existing loan, contact the lender named in your agreement.
Is Just Borrow Loans a direct personal loan lender?
No. Just Borrow is a free U.S. loan-information and connecting service. An independent lender decides whether to offer a loan and sets its terms. Applications use the provider’s embedded form on our application page after a security check.
Can I get a personal loan with bad credit or guaranteed approval?
You may be considered with bad credit, but approval is never guaranteed. Lenders can consider income, existing debts and other eligibility factors alongside your credit history. A request can result in a smaller offer or no offer, even if you meet the basic requirements.
Can I get a $5,000 personal loan with no credit check?
Do not assume a $5,000 loan is available without a credit review. A soft inquiry does not affect your score, while a hard inquiry can. Read the supplier’s and lender’s credit authorizations before proceeding. Browsing this information website does not run a credit check.
How much income do I need to request a personal loan?
The basic request requirements include stable income of at least $1,000 a month, an active checking account, age 18 or older and residence in a supported U.S. state. Lenders may require more income or apply additional criteria. Meeting this threshold does not establish that a $5,000 loan is affordable or guarantee approval.
How much can I borrow through Just Borrow Loans?
The maximum request is $5,000. The amount a lender may offer depends on your state, income, current financial commitments and its assessment. The amount you choose is a request, not an approved loan limit, and you do not need to request the maximum.
Can a personal loan be approved and funded the same day?
A lender may review a request within minutes, and same-business-day funding may be possible after approval, signing and verification. Neither instant approval nor same-day funding is guaranteed. Other loans may take one or two business days or longer, depending on the lender and your bank.
What is the monthly payment on a $5,000 personal loan?
As an illustration, $5,000 over 36 months at a fixed 24% APR with no fees costs about $196.16 a month. Total repayment is approximately $7,061.91, including $2,061.91 in interest; the final payment may adjust for rounding. This is not an offer or a typical rate. Your payment depends on the actual APR, fees and repayment term.
What documents do I need for an online personal loan?
A supplier request may ask for identity, address, income, employment and checking-account details. A lender may also request pay stubs, bank statements or other verification. Enter application details only in the supplier’s request form; do not send financial documents or Social Security numbers to website support.
What is the difference between a personal loan and an installment loan?
A personal loan is borrowing for a personal expense; an installment loan is repaid through scheduled payments over an agreed term. The same loan can be both. Check the payment frequency, APR, fees and total repayment rather than relying on the product name alone.
Do I have to accept a personal loan offer?
No. You can decline before signing if the APR, fees or repayment schedule do not work for you. Using Just Borrow does not commit you to borrowing. If you accept a lender’s agreement, its repayment terms apply, so read the full offer before deciding.
